Privacy
Last updated: September 4, 2026. This notice explains the data boundaries of the GeometryRelay website and local macOS app. GeometryRelay checkout is available through Polar. Polar currently acts as Merchant of Record for payments, receipts, taxes, orders, downloads, licenses, and refunds. SlideFit and Firebase do not operate a separate order database.
Website analytics
SlideFit uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website use. GA4 may process the page URL, referrer, browser and device information, an approximate region derived from the IP address, and page or link interactions. We do not join the GA4 client ID to an app license key or Polar customer ID.
App license communication
The app communicates with Polar only to activate and validate a license. Activation sends the license key, public Polar organization ID, random installation ID, and the fixed generic identifying label `GeometryRelay for Mac`. Validation sends the license key, public Polar organization ID, random installation ID, and Polar activation ID. The label and requests do not use the Mac name, user name, or hardware identifier.
Local storage
The license key, random installation ID, Polar activation ID, and last successful validation time are stored in the non-synchronizing, device-only Keychain on that Mac with the `kSecAttrAccessibleWhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly` accessibility policy. The app does not persist license state in UserDefaults, files, logs, or the clipboard, and it does not clear or change content you paste from the clipboard.
Data not collected
The app does not collect or include in license requests PowerPoint documents, document names, paths, text, notes, images, shape names, customer content, the Mac name, hardware serial, user name, usage records for features or shortcuts, crash dumps, remote logs, or GA4 identifiers. The app has no telemetry, advertising, remote feature flags, or automatic-update check.
Retention
SlideFit keeps no separate server-side copy of app license data. Local Keychain values remain on the device until you deactivate or reset the license and remove those credentials. Data handled by Google and Polar is retained under each service's settings, policies, and applicable legal duties.
Polar as Merchant of Record
Polar currently acts as Merchant of Record for payments, receipts, taxes, orders, downloads, licenses, and refunds. SlideFit and Firebase do not operate a separate order database; payment and order data is governed by Polar's terms and privacy practices.
